"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-2I promise -- next week's verse is much easier! Did I say a verse a week or a section of scripture per week? I'll have to admit -- I jumped in with both feet without much research and I am now realizing that is a good thing -- because I'm not sure I would have started had I realized that we would be memorizing verses each week. But I am hanging in there and actually enjoying it! If you are still thinking about joining in on the challenge, just start now -- don't try to catch up. It's never too late to start memorizing God's Word!

Colette, this is 'my verse'. Many years ago (1958) it was the verse spoken when I went up for an altar call at your church. I have owned it ever since. Our pastor asked one time in a class if anyone had a verse they wanted read at their funeral, I was one of the few who had a quick answer. Thanks for posting it.
