Vacation has Officially Begun!

I am on vacation for the next week and couldn't be more ready!  I am soooooo ready for a break from work and am looking forward to some of my FAVORITE things...

Yep, that's Bernie there -- she's going with me.

This will be a first for me -- vacation by myself (well, sort of).   My man is driving me over to the beach tomorrow and will stay until Tuesday morning, when he has to leave for school.  But he has a big test on Tuesday, so he will spend most of his time studying.  Then Layne will come over Wednesday afternoon and it will be just us girls for a few days -- until the rest of the gang comes on Friday.  Danny has a wedding next Satuday, so he's riding the Amtrak bus back after the wedding so that he can bring me back home.

So what do I plan on doing with myself?  Well, here's what I've packed...

Bible

Books

Sewing Machine

Laptop

Chick Flicks

Bicycle

All of this with a beachfront spot for my trailer at Carpinteria -- sounds pretty wonderful to me!

I can already tell the week is going to pass by way too quickly.
