Today was a travel day. We left about 12:45 and arrived at our motel in St. George, Utah at about 9:30 - you know, the one where they leave the light on. They not only leave the light on but if you request a non-smoking room they turn the ash tray over and put a sticker on it to make sure you don't smoke.
It was hot and muggy when we left home and pretty much stayed that way the whole day. We had lots of wind and some rain between Las Vegas and St. George.
Our plan is to leave at 6:30 in the morning - heading to the mountains somewhere above Salt Lake City.
