Bags for Beth's Books!

Tonight Layne kicks off a group of young women in Beth Moore's study of Esther.  Layne and Cory started with a prayer for a few to join them -- tonight they start their study with 10. It's been amazing to see how God has worked to put these girls together. Many of them have never been in a Bible Study before -- how exciting is that?! Layne and I spent Saturday afternoon making book bags for each of the girls. It all started with a simple suggestion for ink pens -- which led to highlighters, notebooks for prayer requests, kleenex -- and, well, now of course they would need a bag for all these goodies. So we borrowed the pattern from my friend, Nora, made a quick trip to the fabric store, and voila -- we were ready to sew.

Very simple to make -- and they are reversible.
We think they turned out pretty darned cute.

If you have room on your prayer list, please add Layne and this group of young ladies as they dig into God's Word together!

How fun and cute but mostly exciting about their study!!! I'm in the middle of the Esther study right now with 2 ladies from church and it's FASCINATING! I hope they enjoy it and learn a ton. Can't wait to report on my weekend at Beth's church very soon!!! : )
